Arrive at Siliguri airport. Pickup from the airport and drive to Phuentsholing. You can walk around and explore the stark contrast between the Indian side and Bhutanese side across the border, and enjoy some Ema Datchi (chilli + Cheese) and wine. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Head to Paro after breakfast. Explore the monastery in Phuentsholing on the way. Freshen up after reaching Paro and head out for lunch. Visit Paro Dzong and museum. Overnight at Paro.
Time to put your muscles to test. Trek 3 hours to reach Taktsang Moastery. Enjoy the beautiful views from in and around the monastery, and also the beautiful marvel the monastery itself is. Head down after enjoying your time there. Head back to Paro. Overnight at Paro.
Quick sightseeing in Paro if arrival at paro was late on day 2. Visit the Dzong, and National Museum. Head to Thimphu. Quick sightseeing in Thimphu if arrival before dark. Visit Buddha Dordenma for Sunset. Spend time there calming the soul and absorbing all the positive energy around. Overnight at Thimphu.
The day starts with applying for permits to Punakha for the day ahead. Head to Tashicchho Dzong (Thimphu Dzong) and explore the beauty of the structure and the culture. Take an walk through the beautiful road adjoining the river. After lunch, head to the Simply Bhutan museum to learn about the local culture. Visit Thimphu Chorten Overnight in Thimphu
Start the drive to Punakha after breakfast. Enjoy the scenic view at Dochula Pass, and the 108 Chortens commemmorating the Bhutanese lives lost. Continue to Punakha after a short break. Arrive at Punakha, and head to Chimi L'hakhang Temple after lunch. After spending enough time enjoying the beauty and exploring the story behind the Temple, head to the Suspension Bridge. Head back to the hotel or explore the small town. Overnight at Punakha.
Head for a short trek to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten after breakfast. After this, the drive to Phuentsholing starts. Enjoy Dochula Pass, and chance to see the amazing view once again. Reach Phuentsholing by evening. Explore the little town, and stay there.
Head to Siliguri after breakfast. Drop provided at Siliguri Railway station and airport. Return with tonnes of amazing memories.
